Also, today is the first day of Lent, an increasingly important time of the year for me. My sisters, mother, and grandmother are all reading through Henri Nouwen's Show Me the Way.
A beautiful passage today states, "The Season of Lent, during which Winter and Spring struggle with eachother for dominance, helps us in a special way to cry out for God's mercy."
