Ian had his first pediatrician appointment last Thursday. Everything checked out fine. Ian is still weighing in at 5 lbs 15 ounces but has grown to 21 inches long. It was a rather uneventful trip except for a little car seat fiasco. My sister Abby and I could not figure out for the life of us how to get the car seat out of the car. So there we were on M Street in our too short dresses bending into the back seat of the car (flashing everyone I am sure) trying to get the car seat out of the car. After about 10 minutes of trying I finally caved and called Tim. After following Tim's instructions Ian was safely out of the car. I am so glad that Abby was there with me at Ian's first appointment. She was such a huge help, and it was so great to hang out with her as well.

Oh he is so teeny-tiny still! Such a precious little guy. Just think, Aubrey was 2.5 lbs bigger than that at birth! I hope to come for a visit soon, just have to get through the first birthday craziness of this next week.
I had the same problem!!! I almost just took the baby out. I have so much to talk to you about- I have to email!
