Autumn is here!

The weather has turned chilly and that means longer walks outside. I have been driving to the National Arboretum to walk a few times a week. It is especially beautiful there at this time of the year: the herb garden is in full bloom, the roses continue to pop out, and the trees are plush and changing. Our front yard seems to be at its peak as well. The pomegranates are ripe, the roses are still blooming, and the mums are bright.

I love to bundle Ian up in sweatshirts for his walks. He is my very own pillsbury doughboy.
